DealScope is a unique analysis tool. It enables the
user to gain an understanding of the
dynamics of a potential M & A situation. The tool enables the user to view
a summary report from the target, bidder or vendor's perspective. For a
potential target it is possible to see all potential bidders over a twelve-month
period, searching by bidder will identify all potential targets mentioned for
that bidder and the vendor analysis will identify all potential disposals that a
company may be considering. In all cases, dealScope will identify whether
advisers have been mentioned. It is also possible to broaden the search for
example to search for all targets on an industry or geography in the last seven days.
